Hey, starbitians! I've known the oekaki is operational for a while but I forgot :'D I didn't have an idea for a drawing so here's a half-assed pic of anthro Swirly and Ririn :} Does anyone still remember us? I saw a bunch of familiar faces around here~♥

I'm not gonna lie, i use to like Starbitspets cause of it's selection of cute pets.
but i saw the new 'idea' that have brewing. an i dislike it strongly...

what happened to good ol fashioned Virtual pets?
ones that ARENT wearing clothes.
they don't look like pets anymore, it's called starbitpets!?
not starbits..furries?
i'm so flustered about this.
but whatever.. if that's the change they're making, people that disagree are probably going to leave.

Hmm, I don't really mind it. I knew SBP was headed in this sort of direction because it's rather original. If you want an old fashioned VP, you should most likely head to Neopets or Aywas. All the old petsites I use to know are gone(Zetapets, Spielpets, etc) because SIMs are replacing them(Alacrity, Horwse, etc) I wouldn't knock it until chizu gets into development further, you never know. It's just like you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, you don't know how this new direction will turn out. There were anthro-like pets/NPCs even before now, I don't really see the huge difference than some of the pets getting makeovers that I really don't care much for. But that's just my opinion, I can just use CSS to place a custom image over an existing on pet profiles as long as that type of coding remains enabled(which I don't see why it wouldn't be).

i never said there wasn't anthro pet sites already.
but there are sites that have stayed original, that you clearly missed to point out.
such as Subeta.
they have humans, but the pets are the same
they dont wear clothing.

also, to each their own i'm sure alot of people don't mind it.
but i know for one, i strongly dislike it. it ruins the virtual pet feel completely.

If it bothers you so much then just go post on the forums about it? : I honestly don't get the point of complaining about it on the Oekaki instead of just voicing your opinion to chizu directly. Also the new design for the kakineko doesn't look like a furry at all and I think chizu has good ideas. If you are looking for a traditional petsite then SBP probably isn't for you since chizu has always strived to make it original, which includes breaking that mold. Also people are allowed to comment whether they agree or disagree.

Like Ath said- why don't you post on the forums? I'd like to reply with my opinion on this matter, but I don't want to clog up the oekaki with a discussion. :0

So, Here's a quick and pretty badly drawn Vincent for you while I attempt to get used to the Oekaki again. ...Well, Um, hey! Yeah, It's wolfeden returning from super-dupa-Hiatus. Pretty glad we have some signs of life on here, anyways. So..Yeah. Once again I'm useless at everything! x3
